A challenge today! We are considering all the types of punctuation that we have learnt in Year 6 (and previously in other years). This includes:
- Capital letters
- Full stops
- Question marks
- Exclamation marks
- Commas
- Colons
- Semi-colons
- Dashes
- Brackets
- Ellipsis
- Inverted commas
- Apostrophes
Today’s task is not easy, so take your time. You are not expected to get them all right, but there are some that you definitely should get right!
Re-write the ten sentences below, adding in the necessary punctuation. Some sentences are only missing two things, some are missing many more!
When you send them over, I will be able to see which pieces of punctation we are less confident in using and I will plan in some more practice 😊

Watch the video carefully, then copy/print off the grid and complete with your own ideas. You can be as realistic or as magical as you wish, just plan a story that you would enjoy reading!
