LI: I can multiply decimals by powers of 10

Now that we can identify numbers to 3 dp, we are going to begin with multiplying decimals. This is the same method that we used in the Autumn term to multiply whole numbers (integers) but powers of 10.

I have included a place value and Gattegno chart below that you may wish to print off and use to help you today. If you don’t have a printer, you can easily draw your own place value chart 😊

Spr6.1.4 - Multiply by 10 100 and 1000

I have included a place value and Gattegno chart below that you may wish to print off and use to help you today , similar to the way that the teacher used them in the video. If you don’t have a printer, you can easily draw your own place value chart 😊

Here are the tasks for today; good luck and make sure you mark them afterwards to see how you’ve done. Then, send them over on Dojo.
