When Carol is on TV in the morning, she stands next to a map of the UK. I wonder how well you know that map?
Get a piece of paper and split it in half.
On the first half, draw the outline of the UK from memory. Plot on England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland. Can you also plot Harwich and London?
For the second half, you may now find a UK map in a book or online. Now draw with accuracy. Plot on the points from the first map. Consider what else you could plot onto your map, for example, the seas surrounding our country or locations that you have visited.
