COVID-19 Prayers

This assembly is a response to the sad news of Captain Tom’s death, aged 100. Many children will have been inspired by his example during the early days of COVID when he set out to raise money by walking 100 laps around his garden. He has now raised over £33 million for the NHS, launched a single and been knighted by the Queen.

This assembly continues Nehemiah's story. It focuses on how he and the people of Jerusalem rebuilt the walls of the city and how they kept going despite others doing their best to stop it happening.
