Remote Learning Provision
Our Remote Learning Provision outlines how the school delivers high-quality education when pupils are learning from home. We aim to ensure continuity, accessibility, and support for all pupils, whether learning remotely for individual reasons or during wider school disruption.
When is remote learning provided?
In these circumstances we will ensure pupils will have access to remote education as soon as reasonably practicable.
How will remote learning be shared?
Remote learning is delivered through the following:
School Website: Daily planning and resources are uploaded to class pages and will be available by 9:00am.
Email or Messaging Systems: Used for communication between school and families, including support, updates, and feedback.
What will the remote curriculum look like?
Our remote curriculum mirrors the in-school curriculum as closely as possible. Provision includes:
Daily English and mathematics activities
Reading and phonics tasks
Topic work across science, history, geography, art, and more
Wellbeing activities and optional enrichment tasks
Clear instructions, resources, and teacher modelling where appropriate
How will my child be taught remotely?
We use a combination of approaches to teach pupils remotely, here are some examples of remote teaching approaches:
What support is there for pupils with additional needs?
For pupils with SEND or specific learning needs, the school provides:
Adapted resources and individualised tasks
Additional check-ins or targeted support where possible
Guidance for parents to help children access learning
Families can contact the SENCO for tailored support.
Our Remote Learning Provision will be reviewed regularly to ensure it meets the needs of pupils, families, and staff and reflects current guidance.
